Criteria

Criteria Required for Badge Assessment – I have:

  • Completed the Mastering Open Ed Course.
  • Explored the history and context of open education and OER;
  • Reviewed Canadian copyright, open licensing, and reflected on the intersection of copyright and Indigenous knowledge in the context of OER;
  • Applied common accessibility concerns and standards relevant to OER;
  • Demonstrated competencies in common open publishing tools (i.e., Pressbooks and H5P);
  • Assessed the open education context of my own teaching practices and that of my institution.
