Criteria

The micro-certificate holder is able to:

  1. Network effectively with professionals in related fields both electronically and face to face including; connecting with professional associations directly and through professional networking platforms like LinkedIn
  2. Use LinkedIn to develop a professional on-line profile and expand network of professional connections by joining industry groups, professional associations, following companies and individuals and writing and responding to posts
  3. Prepare industry specific questions and conduct an informational interview with professionals in related fields both in person and on-line
  4. Actively seek opportunities to network with industry groups: including Chamber of Commerce industry specific forums and professional association meetings and events

The micro-certificate holder was assessed and successfully presented a short, focused elevator speech highlighting industry experience, qualifications and areas of specialization.
